Canyon Island
Canyon Island is an island in the City and Borough of Juneau, Alaska, United States. Located in the Taku River, it is northeast of the mouth of the Wright River and northeast of the city of Juneau. The name was first reported by the United States Geological Survey in 1960, collected between 1976 and 1981, and entered into the Geographic Names Information System on March 31, 1981.〔(USGS GNIS Feature Detail Report: Canyon Island )〕
